A few months ago, we received the great news of the approval of our new innovation proposal, the DIGI-SPORTING project. A new step towards digital transformation through sports science. This project, funded through the Erasmus + call KA203 – Strategic Partnerships for higher education, aims to develop a guide of good practices for the effective incorporation of technology in sports clubs and academies, as well as the creation of a profile sports technologist skills and a postgraduate training package.
On November 4 and 5, the first international meeting will be held, which will kick off the project and will have the participation of representatives of all partners. The location chosen for this first meeting has been Toledo, developing part of it on the spectacular San Pedro Mártir Campus in the historic centre of the city, and another part on the Fábrica de Armas Campus, headquarters of the IGOID Group and the Faculty of Sport Sciences.
In this meeting, the executive committee of the project will be consolidated, and the distribution of tasks will be accepted, also starting with the first group work sessions. In addition, there will be the inauguration by the Vice-rector for Internationalization and Ongoing Training, Fátima Guadamillas Gómez.
